We had an awesome potluck here last night. Nothing better than gathering with family and friends in the darkest time of the year. We had an over abundance of tasty food (as usual), jamming & playing with blocks in the glow and warmth of the wood stove, cookie decorating and a real treat: tasting some locally raised, cruelty-free meat prepared and butchered by Salem from a local farm on the west side...also two dozen grilled cheese sandwiches made with rescued cheese, bread & butter. Clearly Santa Claus has been taking out the trash at Payless lately. Yay!
